Reviews for "TCT RPG"

Love it!

Still playing through but I've decided to take a break for a bit lol.

The game is really well done, I enjoy the tactics system by placing characters in certain areas to boost effects of attacks or defenses. As for the people complaining about the bosses, don't change a thing! They are awesome the way they are and like you mentioned there is a trick to beating them you just have to be patient and find it (like most RPGs like this). There are only two things that annoy me in this game though..
1.Bella and Chadd start at such a low level when you find them. They catch up eventually but it's really irritating if they die too often cause there aren't that many enemies to fight.
2.There is only one Save point in the altered plane!!! I died when I got to the boss cause there was no save point, plus you can't go back to the save point to heal so you're spending the whole time dodging monsters and running from battles until you get there. I beat it on the second try of course but I'd have prefered a save before the boss.
Other than that it's a great game and I look forward to completing it!
(I just hope I don't find any more annoying things lol) :P

[[A tip for beating Alpha Vestasuit]]
First things first kill both of those annoying Rhobits!
Second go all out on the host, the vest heals itself not the host.
Finally take down the Vest, it stops healing itself when the host dies.

Good Game

Now I've personally haven't played Earthbound before, so I don't know that matter, so I'll skip it.

Now as for the bosses, you might want to be a little more obvious on the hints. I knew for Pierce that I should attack his chair from the earlier references in the game, but I have no idea what to do for the Vestasuit boss.

I also think that some measure of HP is needed, or at least indicate WHICH NUMBERS AFFECT WHICH. Especially on the vestasuit boss.. The thing is, I can't tell if the suit is healing the host, or itself, making me wonder which to attack, while eventually getting pummeled by the robots.

Oh and btw, it might just be for me, but the save feature doesn't work.. >.>

P.S. Mute button is a MUST

Grawsie responds:

Check your temporary internet files, if you have them set to clear or you don't allow cookies then flash games will not be able to save.

Good at first

I like the story so far, the music is pretty good, and playing it isn't bad.

As mentioned before, the attack noise did get annoying after a short while, but my real problem is with the tanking boss. I don't know if I'm attacking the wrong part or if I should have been grinding, but it won't die!

If you don't want to make the boss difficult by a means other than tacking digits onto HP, then fine. But please make some sort of measure for its HP! I hate RPGs where you sink numbers into a monster with no visible effect for ages and ages. I want to know if I should come back when my team is stronger or if its worth it to keep up the attack-heal-attack-heal for *another* 10 minutes.

Grawsie responds:

Actually almost all the bosses are unique in their weakness and all of them have little tricks to beating them, keep trying, you'll get it! ;)

Amazing!

I absoltely love it! 10/10! I have not finished yet but i would love a sequel! a mute button wuld be good and changing the music to something else if you want would be great!

Damn it's long

This game does have an "earthbound" kind of feel to it, and I have a feeling I have heard the game music before... but all in all a solid title which has hours upon hours of gameplay.

The only thing I didn't like was the sound it made when you enter a fight, at first it was epic, but after being in the pedo-teachers world, where I got attacked every five secounds, it grated me like a sharp sword and I looked for an option to turn of that sound. I ended up turning off the sound completly... and then the game. But stil it is an okay RPG and considering it is free, this is one of those games everyone should try out.
