Reviews for "The Killbots of C Station"

Simple, yet awesome

Extremely simple idea, simple storyline, and still fun. No music or anything, not much replay value, but still good I'd say. And I gotta ask, did you get "Killbots" from Futurama? lol

Fun times with only a single low importance nitpic

I had a surprisingly fun time. Probably because even though all you're doing is clicking to move dots, they're better at their job than most squads you get in retail squad based games.

My only slight nitpick is that there is no way to really keep track of which group is 'Squad 1', and which is 'Squad 2', the squad specific speed upgrades aren't as helpful as they could be unless you always have them at matched levels.

really good game!

its challenging and something new, though it needs a little bit improvement. maybe more levels, marks which squad is 1 and which is 2 and a bit more troops!

well done

was entertained enough to finish the game

There's so much potential to this game.

I am very, very impressed with the format of this game. Squad control is very simple, making movement fluid, and almost easy. It didn't take me long to become familiar with the controls, despite the apparent lack of directions for the game.
I found it very enjoyable how easily the battle could change simply by moving your troops around the enemies cover, or overwhelming them with all of your squads.
The tank was also very effective as a heavy-support, that was perfect for flank attacks and covering my retreats. However it was rather awkward cycling through the squads with only the c key to guide me, upon buying the tank it was tedious. However the initial two-squad attack force wasn't difficult at all.

I admire your foresight in the addition of the large black box's that the robots would not hug against for cover. They are the perfect protection for moving squads, without them being slown down by programs telling them to sit in cover. They simply ignore it until they find white bars. It makes it much simpler and in-fact more enjoyable.

I only wish that there was more to this game. There's quite a bit of potential not only for squad based tactics, but also building defenses and production-lines. You could turn this into quite an impressive piece of gaming material, were you to take another week or so on this, as you've accomplished a lot in 24 hours.

I strongly desire you to do more. I think that, with your skill you can make it excellent with some polishing.

Directions first off, would be appreciated. I had to figure out how to beat the game, through experimentation. Although the fact that I can simply farm a level to beat the next one made it a rather simple process.
Actually if you made the A.I. even more intelligent that may be enough to make it even more complex and engaging, as after awhile I found it easy to outsmart and dupe the enemy.

Or, better yet... A multiplayer system so that NGers can pit their skills against one another. That would be perfect.
