Great, but...

After a while it gets a bit repetitive... especially the whack the bad guys, run away, heal, and repeat.

Also I found out that every once and a while when you start a mission you are stuck on the left hand side of the screen, unable to move, and your spell list isn't visible. Usually I go back to the menu and click continue campaign and then I can play that mission.

Besides these things it is still great.

P.S. For those who are reading this I beat the game in about 2 or 3 hours.

Quite easy...

Also, indeed, repetitive. I just put everything into Fitness. Right now I have 810 hit points and my base damage is 45. I used the initial "freebie" item from the store to get a helmet that gives +25% experience, which I've used for the rest of the game.

I have no problem with the "store." I didn't buy anything from it but so what if a developer wants to get a little compensation for his work?

One thing is annoying, which is that after you have 5 or 6 levels of Heal, extra levels actually make it WORSE. They increase the time it takes to reload without increasing the heal percentage (20%). Also, all the abilities that blow the enemies back are kind of stupid because you usually want to clump the enemies together so you can hit them all at once, not throw them far away so you have to chase them down. Teleport is useful though you don't need more than a level or two of it. Most of the time, using combos is weaker than just doing regular hits, with the exception of stun attack sometimes.

In general there are also game balance problems, mainly that fitness is too powerful a trait in comparison to the other two. I don't think a magic or finesse based build would be viable. Also, the "bonus experience" is a nice idea but if you want to encourage combos the bonus should be 10x what it is.

Not To Shabby

OK first, like some people i thought this was a great game, but there are a few flaws.
someone suggested there be a percentage bonus for combos, i agree
also i know that everyone hates the thing where you pay for upgrades, as do i
but that does not mean that you should give them a 0 or 1 score, it is a great game.
i find the game is way to easy, i'm almost done on insane and i am having no problem
all in all though good job

really great game

this is one of the funnest games i played on newgrounds i would give this game a 8.5 rating. i took off half a point for eentually getting repetitive and another point for having to actually pay for the upgrades but i dont really mind since i find enough loot to keep me happy.
