It's so freaking awesome to see this! For a moment at first, I thought you were using a character you previously had before. I could have sworn this guy was in one of your cartoons. It's great that it's someone I'm not familiar with. You show such great expression here. I just now noticed the bloody knife.
It's just that his face makes you focus on that part of his body so much. I love how his cape is just dissolving. Red always looks sinister. The glow is a great touch as well. I love the title too.

This is a very good illustration of your friend's (and my old acquaintance's) character. Oh and not to be somewhat off topic but i'd like to correct a misconception that seems to be followed by my fellow reviewers. That isn't a man; it's a woman.
Good use of background but i must say the use of the aura is well displayed it is something of a strange choice considering the character. (now in a more unrelated personal note)
Tell Muse that Spaceman Zog says hi; she may get it.
