Reviews for "Vorago"

Vorag 2! please!

Had major potential but in my opinion, was a little too preachy and silly. Animation was pretty stale, but the art was relatively decent, especially the backgrounds. Parts of it were just campy, and almost all of the puzzles made little to no sense. Could have been much better, but the game just tried to be something it's not. However, this is probably one of the only games of yours I really disliked.

This game had some interesting stuff in it, but I have some major reproaches.
- If you want to make a serious game, make a serious game. What with this "burnt cat" sh*t ? I do not want a comic relief in something inspired by The Mist.
- If you want to create a PnC game, why the boring mini-games ? The first one is terrible, and the other two ones are poor. The shooting part is so ridiculous that you put a huge life bar instead of, you know, actually fixing the game.
- The Mist should just have been an inspiration. This game feels like you just took the movie, removed characters (and some of the clever stuff), and put the rest in a game. I have seen the movie, I know what the overly religious character will become and who will die before the end. The only stuff you change was that *SPOILER ALERT !!!* the little girl does not die and the military do not come at the end */SPOILER ALERT* and that's about it. Call it "The Mist : The Videogame".

Still, remove the terrible minigames and the cat stuff, and this will be a good game. The graphics are nice, the dialogs are not-too-bad, the voice acting is pretty decent. I'm quite disappointed that it has not been better, because it easily could have been.

I could probably get in trouble if I called it "The mist", or the least to say, it wouldn't be allowed sponsorship. But I agree with the points you made, at the time, I was actually insisted to implement mini-games as a means of "extra entertainment", and not just a generic PnC.

Kinda cheesy with the Biblical content, nothing special about the story, gameplay was alright aside from the stupid mini-games. Nothing really impressed me, there were some stupid puzzles, but killed 40 minutes pretty well

I'm sorry but this game is decent at best. while the story is much in the same way as silent hill, it just doesn't give that sense of fear one would expect from something oddly named like this. You also didn't take into account Seth would run out of bullets. depending on the looks of his weapon I would wager he has a 45. or a 9mm. a 9mm has a 13-15 round clip while the .45 has a 6-8 round clip.

also, given the situation, they would have used the hair spray flamethrower on Seth when he wasn't looking so they could escape. you didn't take common sense into account for anything when creating this game.
