Reviews for "Rollball"

bad game

Not a terrible game, but the concept was already overdone to oblivion. The physics and graphics are nice and realistic, but the difficulty pace goes up WAY too quickly. People shouldn't be struggling on level 2 unless it's intentional and warned about beforehand. Also, as said previously, you can easily cheat, but there's no indication where to go so you can jump a gap to a different part, and just end up where you started, wasting bonus time and more importantly, your time, making you even more difficult. The game itself feels much like so many other games with default.

In an attempt to prove this game isn't terrible, I'll list the pro's:

~Realistic physics
~Great graphics

Cons:

~Bland, boring, repetitive music that gets on your nerves, thank god for a mute button.
~Bland, repetitive gameplay.
~The only 'special' tiles (elevated platforms, ramps, boosts, etc.) are commonplace in games like these.
~Frankly, nothing makes me want to continue playing this

A good game can be loosely based off another, but this game lacks a feeling of originality. Another fine case where better graphics DO NOT make a funner game. 5/10, 2/5

Too repetative, very frustrating.

Every level was the same. Poor control response and looping music made me wanna scream. And I just wrote this almost same exact review for another game.

good game, but needs improvment

The game was ok and and had a good concept for a game. Though it seems to be lacking in some areas. For example, the camera, it was annoying that a person can't see where they should jump and often leads them jumping to their death.

Another issue was the jump itself. Half of the time I couldn't get on top of the crate (not sure if anyone else has been having this problem)

Also, the music...I'll admit I sorta enjoyed it at first but it eventually it gets horrid listening to it over and over again. Perhaps next time you could give music with more variety or even allow the player the option of several other music tracks.

And my last thing I noticed was the background/objects. The colors seem bland...like everything is just a different shade of gray or black. It's not that visually pleasing to look at.

Just my two cents I would like to share.

bleh

Ball sometimes doesn't react when I tell it to jump... So your game fails.

Boring...

Sorry, but I've seen this kind of thing done loads of times. Good effort, though.
