Reviews for "Cyberhorde"

Got boring.

Didn't have upgrades and got boring after a few levels. Very repetitive.

Okay

Pros:
-Good graphics
-Decent plot
-Large variety of enemies
-Liked the autofire
-The ability to power the ion cannon added a necessity for skill into the mix.
Cons:
-No upgrade system? The game would have been much improved with an upgrade system, which I was surprised to find it didn't have. Without upgrades, the game gets boring, and I felt that an upgrade system would have held my attention longer.
-The lack of variety in powerups (only five--laser, dual shot, triple shot, rocket, and healing) was disappointing, especially given that there was no upgrade system.

Otherwise, decent game, and I look forward to a sequel (with either a lot more powerups or an upgrade system)

fizzgear responds:

Thanks for detailed review! Will definetely consider upgrade shop for a sequel. Good to hear you liked power ion cannon - I was concerned it is making the game too complex.

Interesting

The game is a defense interesting game, but as other user said, ur only upgrades are by luck, the game repeates on and on so you can easily get bored, I felt annoyed by the enemies getting better and more powerful and i'm standing with the same ship, maybe getting turrets and vary the enemies strenght and debilities, diferent lasers that you can change

you can do much friend ;)

fizzgear responds:

Agree - for a sequel it will definetely worth to create upgrades. Real challenge will be to balance them nicely.

Meh

This game needs a way of dealing with bots that come too close. As is, any spiderbot that gets within the lower part of the screen is basically guaranteed to hit you and there's nothing you can do about it.

fizzgear responds:

Nice thought - maybe sequel will have more "arena-style" control (WASD+mouse).

Needs some work

Its an ok game, but some of the parts wore my nerves. For the most part it was ok, but when I had to leave the cloaking bots alone, i kept losing because I kept shooting cloaked megabots that blew the cloak bots up. The final boss was a pain because I felt boxed in with the swams surrounding me. I don't mind not having upgrades, but if you could increase the frequency of power ups, that would help alot.

fizzgear responds:

Hey - thanks for feedback. Will consider more careful balancing for a sequel.
