I didn't read the description until after I saw it but I could tell it was rotoscoped..but it did have that "cheap" rotoscoped effect because of the style you applied to it turned out really nice and really enhanced the mood of the story. so yeah overall it was a really nice piece.
Yeah, the rotoscoping was really just for the line drawing and the main keyframes, then I'd render the drawings with more detail and inbetween them. There's only so much you can get from bad video footage. :)

This is not like your usual work, yet it was very deep and had lots of meaning. I love your old things but this little dark side is very lovely. I love it. Hope to see something like that again. Plus the music was perfect for everything. Great job!

The main thing I've learned while working on this is to collaborate with people from other disciplines to create something completely new and keep things interesting for myself.

This was visually intense.
The sketchy style of this prologue was really cool and authentic. Thye limitation of color palette to black and white brought out the dramatic expressions in the characters.
Thanks Kweaks, I based the drawing style on Käthe Kollwitz, she was an amazingly intense artist from back in the depression. If you like what I did you should check her stuff out.
