Totally unnecessary.
The stand-up was ok. It wasn't THAT funny to begin with. The animation was just pointless. I don't know why you would invest so much time in it, really. The stand up is meant to be stand up. Plus the animation was really basic. It really was just unnecessary.
mike birbigs is wonderful and all
the animation wasn't so great, though.

Why did you waste your time animating this flash? It added no humor to this already tired, dull as hell joke. The animation was some of the blandest use of gradients and there was no flow in the movement. I wasted some of my life. Skip this.

Also, BONUS POINTS on inserting crosses absolutely everywhere. I'm now a devout Puritan thanks to that.

One, there were only two crosses in the entire animation. Two, his parents are catholic.
