not like that means jack. I just wanted to appreciate how Your "Genome Lab" stylings are not only more than a gimmick- they are consistent, believable, and the metaphor makes things a little user friendly too. Attributing proteins to stat boosts and other such seemingly mind numbing concepts to simple gamer speak is genius.
Gameplay- absolutely ACE. It's comparable to a real-time RISK, (let's face it, along with turn based DOOM it was always something that needed to be done).Intuitive, I learnt how to play the game without even looking at the README. The point and hover system works a treat, and there's enough variety to see this played through to the end. Although viruses move at a seemingly slow pace, the game does not- This is a Game to be played on the toes, get slack and You'll fail to notice lost cells and the like. Spacing of cells gives this great sense of "trasport lag" which players will really have to think around. This sort of content is what We're all after on NewGrounds- great new concepts that ooze simplicity and playability. the big wigs could learn a thing or two from this.
My only qualm is really only more of a wish list item rather than an actual beef- multiplayer. That would be the kickin'. Don't take this review lightly- It's the 2nd ever 10/10 I've ever handed out.
