Ugh.
The graphics are well done, I'll concede that. A smooth, albeit annoying presentation.
A lot of those same anime cop-outs in regards to animation: chibi, flailing arms that are really...4...maybe 5 frames of animation.
That bubbly sountrack gets on my nerves, as much as I like Kirby.
The pace is excruciating. Maybe it's funny because other 9 year olds somehow come to NG AND have played cooking Mama. But to me, it's not funny. It's slow, it's boring, and largely unoriginal... unless Lucky Star character Lesbians getting freaked out by toast is what counts for original nowadays.
I really wasn't a fan of this.
Lowest common denominator?
Not even talking of the obviously juvenile humor of the sex scenes, it just isn't really that funny. It's the type of thing most people stopped laughing at around puberty. Chopping off fingers, blood everywhere, haha, the cat threw a bomb into a cake and it exploded? Without a hint of subtlety to the whole thing. Even old Tom and Jerry or Bugs Bunny cartoons had some sort of setup - they understood that it's all in the pacing. This is just a flurry of violent images and we're supposed to laugh? It's not even random enough to be called "random humor," as thin as that category can get.
Zero for execution, zero for the humor, and really, the animation? Kinda stiff. The art is very good, which is why I'm giving it a 2. But I don't consider this frontpage. I think people might be giving this way too much of a break just because it's styled as "anime." Don't get me wrong, anime is great. But same with any other medium, not all of it is great or even good. Just excitement over seeing some decently-drawn anime shouldn't qualify instant 10 ratings. Had this been done with stick figures, would you still find it funny?

Seriously, this has to be the one of the most bland and generic movies I've ever seen on Newgrounds. Nothing but over use anime cliches that were never funny in the first place. Plus, you actually managed to use Kirby music in a way that wasn't charming or fun to listen to. Props to that.
The icing on the turd sundae has to be the fact that you used a yuri icon of Lucky Star characters just to draw in the horny 13-year olds looking for something to fap to and thus make it more popular. Congratulations. It worked.
