Not bad, but lacks consistence
Pretty good, I just want to point out how random it is though...
The guards, the target, the exit... everything is soooo random. If you're lucky enough... the target could actually just walk to you and then have exit pop right next to you. And it's actually that much worse in "alarm" mode. They run everywhere. Sometimes it actually makes it easier for you to hide or to reach the target/exit.
Having the enemies and the target actually have patterns/patrols isn't always going to make it easier. It could actually make it harder. If planned correctly.
As the other users have pointed out, I also think the target should have a line of sight and react by escaping/alerting the guards.
This is just my opinion... but the target shouldn't be moving so much either... And not that randomly as I pointed out earlier.
Blocking the exit in "alarm" mode doesn't bother me that much, but I also think it is kinda pointless. Hiding isn't usually that hard. The real problem IMO is how random the exit is. Maybe I'm just used to a different kind of game?
I also wished I could have offed a guard or two... but meh... I probably played too much Tenchu?
Anyway, pretty good effort, but IMO way too random to really be called a game about skill and not luck.
