Reviews for "Bango!"
There are a few problems with this game:
1) Sometimes you'll hit the corner of a block on your way up which gets rid of the block before you even land.
2) If the dialog that asks if you want to look at the walkthrough is supposed to pop up after the next death and you try to reset, the walkthrough comes up automatically.
3)If you hold down jump, you will jump again when you land. It's not really a problem with the game itself but it could get frustrating for people who play platformers that let you jump higher when you hold down the button.
Good Music, crap bug
7 for the music but I hope its my computer, byut my char keeps jumping..... and if I press right and release it goes right, it also keeps going right, but awesome music!
Bouncin Around round
This game can be alot of fun to play with great music that dosent wear on the ears and pleasant graphics however I would truly like to see more backrounds instead of the one its seems. Now I havnt played all the way through but it would be nice to see a change up in backrounds every five to ten lvls.
Other then the backround the other things that becomes annoying is the fact that after so many times dieing a link to the walkthrough keeps popping up and it is annoying, if it is that big a deal just put a button down at the bottom somewhere or after the die so much instead of a huge pop up have a link to the walkthrough appear for a short time where the unlocked achievments show up.
I had some issues with the controlls aswelll. I disliked how if you touched the side of one of the blocks it counted and disapeared. It gets really annoying and frustrating cause sometimes you just do it by accident and you just killed yourself again. I also disliked the fact that you can get ride of two blocks at once by standing in the middle of them cause it just added to the frustration of the game when you where only trying to get on one cause you needed the other one later.
Lastly its nice to show the lvl and its title up top and I like how you can minimize it if you want however i liked it so much i kept it up untill i got to lvl 10 and it blocked my view of a block up there and had no idea that there was even a block up there till i over jumped and landed on it by accident. I think that after 4 or 5 sec of playing the lvl it sould auto minimize so you can see everything or just make the game bigger so things dont get int the way so much.
so yeah controls need some work along with the interface and you need some more backrounds to go around to keep people interested but other then that I enjoyed playing that game and trying to figure everything out.
A mute option would be nice
Not everyone likes cheesy techno music.
