Reviews for "Madness Assasination: KT"

Not bad, but short

-Good-
This was done pretty well and has an interesting topic. The backgrounds and graphics were very well done. I liked the music here and it fit with the flash.

-Bad-
The main flaw here was the shortness of this flash, it kinda ended very abruptly.

-Overall-
A pretty good movie, but needs to be longer.

(title in work)

Definitely better than your average Madness short. I really liked the music, I feel that it fit the mood of a presidential assassination quite well. Good animation and use of simple tricks to add nice effects, such as the flags blowing in the wind. In the future, you'll probably be better off making movies a bit longer with some more development in them. This is a bit short.

C-Doodlez-Man responds:

Well, that seems to be the main problem, so i'm glad the animation itself was good, and i could definetly develope a better animation.

Below average

This one was tricky, I initially wanted to give you a below average/ failing, then I thought harder, and looked at some of the other reviews and had a slight change of heart, mainly because I saw everything they did from the accuracy of the flash to its inherent shortness. This is what I observed:

-It was good for a madness short true, but I KNOW you can do better than this. If I didn't I might have even considered giving you an average. The car was a box, the sniper rifle wasn't as detailed as it could have been, and every structure from the buildings to walls was drab or freakishly square.

-The credits rolled too fast, making a replay button unnecessary, but I didn't pay attention to the credits and I refuse to go out of my way even in the slightest to do so.

-The music was fitting, I can almost say I'm proud of you for putting it in with the flash.

-For a madness short, it's almost perfect because of how you drew all the people, and the fact that everyone's arms are missing is also an obvious sign.

-The best thing you did here, was the transitioning, I had to watch it multiple times just to see every transition, you're better than actual editors in movies. Of course, you only had a few seconds, but this is also a plus. If I ever want anything edited, I would come directly to you. But I would kindly ask you to skip the gunshots.

All in all, you know what's wrong with the flash and don't really need anyone to help you. Make it longer, tone down the shot a bit, (or up the music) and keep your transitions as good as in this flash (it was the biggest factor in uping your rating).

C-Doodlez-Man responds:

Thanks alot, that review was a big help. Thanks for the compliments to :D

Needs more

I was decently animated, but too short, for my liking.

Since you've chosen to make a flash based on one of the events of the 20th Century that gained the most media hype, you're not short of sources for research and chances to improve the storyline dramatically.

I'd suggest that you have some sort of madness fight within the book depository, where the assassin was rumoured to be hiding inside. This could compromise the shot of the sniper from there, so a second sniper has to be deployed from behind the grassy gnoll, in order to complete the mission. This would make the thing so much longer and better to watch.

Also, please spend more time drawing the boobs of the women, they look so weird - closer together, not perfect half-spheres, that sort of thing. There's plenty of research you can do online for this ;)

It was nice. I felt as though it could've done well with more. For example, the shooter has no feet and that's something to be expected from even the most rudimentary test files that get uploaded these days. It also would've helped if you animated blood splatter when Kennedy got shot, having it burst out of him and having it cover the seats and what not. It comes across as very amateurish in overall design, especially when the limo is so wide that the characters can sit at opposite ends of each other with enough room in the middle for a crowd of people. I would suggest fixing some of these problem and making enhancements in the areas I mentioned & file swapping it but this was uploaded in 2009 so I doubt any retroactive cleanup will ever happen. Even so it didn't feel like a waste of my time at least.
