Reviews for "Gray"

nice game but the meaning i think about gray: first you start the normal politic then you change you chose the one they pick earlier then you use both politicians so long you lost your mind you didnt know which politic your supporting then all the people your talking to is confused which politic are you supporting then all people is chosing random politics except you, still nice game

Great little piece. The gameplay is easy to understand and surprisingly entertaining. The game ends right about where it should. The pacing is pretty much excellent.

As for the meaning... I don't know where people got "peace" or how they could distinguish which shade is peace or not, lol.
I think it's a story about a person whose ideas switch from one bias to another, only to settle on a more moderate (non-biased) view that accepts bits and pieces from both ideologies. In trying to communicate the latter he doesn't feel like he's getting through to anyone because everybody is too biased or extreme one way or the other. It suggests perhaps that a more peaceful moderate ideology is few and far between in a world where people prefer to think in extremes.

that's deep,oh god.

Story/meaning: 5 stars. Very simple but very effective at getting the point across (at least to me).
You start out on one side, trying to convince to others to go for your view of 'peace'. Then after converting all of them to the other side, you switch and try again to bring them back to your new delusion of peace.

Gameplay: 3 stars. The idea starts off well enough; you essentially time your 'wave' with the opposition's 'wave', causing them to meet at the middle, as if countering their argument. However, it seems you attempted to make it more difficult at each repetition by increasing the amount of 'wave' your opposition emits. Due to the large threshold of where the waves can clash and because of how close together they end up being, the difficulty actually decreases since all you need to do is spam the space bar.

Graphics/Art/Animation: 4 stars. It's all very smooth, clean, and simple, yet creepy enough to fit the theme.

Music/Sounds/Audio: 4 stars. Just as creepy (if not creepier) as the graphics, and fits the theme just as well. It's repetitive, yet somehow avoids becoming obnoxious.

(5+4+4+3)/4 = 4

Its like you're some hipster going opposite from everyone else on purpose.
