Reviews for "Gray"

i guess all people are supposed to be equals in this game but 1 wouldnt listen to the other and fighting wont get you anywhere.

what point, there's no point

firstly, i try NOT to guess the "real" message behind the game
because the authors told you to keep an open mind, and so i express what i personally learned/agreed with.

there's a phenomenon which you can see not only in the game, but also in reality and this review session that

people are making POINTS

it maybe good or bad or both,
however, gray people cant escape the fact that they have to make audible points to have their say. These audible points are points that differ from their desired points/the ultimate truth. However, these audible points may lead to their goal.....so,gray acts the same as black/white. otherwise, they are not accepted as if they dont exist.

the black and white loop is endless because the way we define gray people is that they are not accepted as if they dont exist, it's not a matter of being intelligent/open/free or whatsoever, the mainstream, the hive mind is always defined as black or white,so there's no good/bad, just a phenonmenon that mainstream is so mainstream....

the ending didnt include the fact that gray people are not as few as one person (you loop through n times to become grey, you have many followers who loop through n-1 or n-2 times).

i very... interesting game

i kinda got the point... a little

Don't follow the sheep.

First and foremost, on the mechanics of the game itself:

Controls are relatively easy to use, although I have to note that the spacebar occasionally dies not respond to very fast hits that are sometimes necessary in gameplay. The animations are very good, and I have no notes to give with regard to them.

Finally, on the story/plot of the game:

The game is a work of art. In the beginning, you are surrounded by protesters. Immediately, you seek to bring them around to your point of view. However, the moment you convert them all, you lose faith in your own principles. The process repeats, until you become so inundated with the principles of both factions that you can no longer convert anybody. The game speaks to the real world as well as any newspaper or news station. It's not my favorite game on-site, but definitely deserving of a 10/10 rating.

Very unique game!

What I got from it: Trying to find a balance through peace, no matter what side you're fighting on. As you start, you try to sway people to your cause. Taking that as far as you can, the whole mob rallies with you, and you even have followers who move around with you as you try to convert others to your cause. But then the balance shifts, and you realize that what you were fighting for is not the definitive solution. So, you fight to rally the mob back to the other side. Back and forth this goes, until, finally, neither side cares for your opinion any longer.

Maybe I'm wrong. As the preceding comments have shown, maybe there is no one right answer to what these people are fighting over. But when you think about, this game, to have generated so much debate and analysis on something so simple (the game is less than 5 minutes long, really), is a success.

My hat's off to you both! 5/5, 10/10, added to favorites.
