An FF Tactics rip with less polish.
While I have nothing against you using a FFT/Tactics Ogre-like system, you seem to have taken the system (and some of FFT's graphics) and added little to it while removing a great deal. Theres no option to go back and correct a mis-click. The immobile camera can make navigating the field annoying. The menus, movement, and and attack animations are time-consuming (I only played up to the desert, but why have an attack submenu when the only attack option is slice? If you get attack abilities later on, why not just put them in a separate menu so when you want to just attack, as you do frequently, you have one less step to go through?) without being impressive. The enemy AI uses little to no strategy. What I saw of the story was generic. The information provided in combat (enemy stats, turn order, etc.) was sparse. Finally, palet swaps started on the second mission.
The good? Well, the core combat system wasn't bad, but then it's built on a strong foundation. The original art (with the exception of your grandfather's face) was pretty good and the music wasn't bad.
Overall? It's pretty generic, which is a shame, because a little more thought/effort could have made it a lot better.
rpg chess
its kinda chess like withe simple attack and move with a rpg twist. Not the greatest game but good for hard thinkers.It was defiantly a soft version of some rpg.The strategy s a bit simple through.try lower starting money smarter enemies and just maybe put more unique plot or game play twist to drag it away from others .Lower gold so we have to use money wiser.so on.
NOt that bad
It's not that bad just....not that good either. It goes really really really.....really slow.. But it's not terrible, its half good and half bad (hence the 5/10)

I'm going to give you a 6 because there is no button or option to reset. If I move and I make a mistake then what am I going to do? It made em die a few times.
I agree with truthsayer on everything. 50g at the beginning? Really?
