Reviews for "Ultimate Tactics"

well...

i make QuarterDot words mine, very good game overall but i would like to see the improvements he mentioned, specialy the faster gameplay, imo is very slow atm
hope to see a update or a sequel to this game.

very good

i will add to what Quarterdot said , there should be also a option when you don't move to attack twice , since you don't actually move , that would be something interesting , because you can only attack and move once . exept of that , and the point Quartdot said , its excellent !

Pretty sweet.

I like it alot, although the game play is quite slow, of course for a strategy RPG that is quite natural. I recognised alot of items and icons from RPG Maker VX, nice for them to be incorporated into this. All in all I enjoyed it for the short while that I played. I'll be sure to stop by again.

You bastard...

...you made me play this for 8 hours straight on my day off. I got NOTHING done! :D DAMN YOU!
Gameplay is excellent but a little slow with the battle info-screens.. I don't know what to call them, but when it says what spell you're using etc.
Music is superb. Difficulty is not ridiculous. Graphics are simple and smooth. Story is nothing special but it doesn't have to be for a game like this.
Very nice work. Love the lockpicking thingy.

Some improvements:
- More weapons and powerups or the possibility to modify your weapons
- Make the in-game graphics change as you upgrade your equipment
- Make the gameplay a little faster
- More gold from treasure chests
- More attack styles for the fighter-dude. There's only "slice" now

Keep it up! Looking forward to play the sequel.

Great mechanics

But falls short of excellence. Everything is in place: graphics, sounds, music, gameplay, but the lack of customized skill tree or stat distribution gives the feeling of mindlessly progressing through a non-existent story. I love tactics style, so this gets above average, but I would LOVE to see this redone with a skill menu/class system to make me want to play.
