Ah...a good ole challange.

This game brings back memories. Its great! plenty of mindless killing, im always needing money, and im getting it way too slow. I also think that incorperating band aids so that if you die you can be instantly refilled, removing the element of having to start over from the last save, was a nice touch. I also noticed that there was some elements from the nes game willow in addition to Zelda. Id say you really outdone yourself.

I spent over 4 hours now, and i finally got to the second world. I hope I can beat it before your predicted 10 hours. The only thing that I really dont like about the game is the option to get additional equipment if you go to that website. I feel that that weakens the games elements somewhat. Kind of like those people on WoW whom buy money for their characters.

Wow

That was way out of most of Newgrounds league. Though I must say, the game only took me about 7 hours to complete, except for the special armor you can't buy in the Newgrounds version. I even leveled up to the max during that time. Bestiary filled, all swords, shields, and armor obtained, fully leveled up, all life and magic burst packs obtained, magic ring obtained, coliseum prize won, everything, all in under 10 hours, and without using the walkthrough. So either I'm really badass at old-school style Legend-of-Zelda-like games, or this game was not nearly as long as you claim. Oh well, either way, the game was really awesome, and I enjoyed it a lot. It was worth the hours I put into it. And it was really high quality, much more so than a lot of Newgrounds games I've played. But then you've got several people that worked on it. Way to go with this.

Meh

It's good, but far too long. The whole "save and quit" thing is wildly inconvenient when it takes you right back to the start, 'cause that walk is LONG! It wouldn't be so bad if things weren't so repetitive, but doing everything all over again after you think you've gotten somewhere was also pretty lame. It showed skill and dedication, but no flash game warrants this much effort on the part of the player.

lol this game was as fun as a Pogo ball!

Loved it, best flash ever. I also digg the always-psycho-happy protagonist too.

Hate the ads though, but I guess you guys are out to make money off this. And for some reason, the longer I played, the more memory this game kept demanding. I would have to exit the game at points where it started to get reallll laggy just to reset the memory. What is up with that?
