Not bad
I have played a lot worst. It was a bit short and did get a bit too easy at times. The boss was nice, it really was the saving grace of the short and simple game play.

Quick, fun yet meaningful
I think restarting at the screen at which you died was an excellent choice on your behalf, it prevents a lot of frustration.
Game play was simple yet enjoyable, art was excellent for the style.
Bosses were fun and challenging. The length of the game was about right, it was abit tedious backtracking though.
The only way i could see this improving is if the atmospher became alot darker as you progressed into hell. for example change in music and colours.
Twist at the end was great, i was too busy rushing back to anticipate anything so it really caught me by surprise.
Really enjoyed it and look forward to any of your future work

This is a very interesting game. Classic, pixel design. Neat puzzles. However the plot I didn't understand. Also the puzzles weren't really challenging.

did you take inspiration from that classical story where hercules or some guy has to bring some woman back from hell, but fails as he looks behind him? : P i vaguely remember
