Hmmm...
Ehh, overall it's pretty good, however, I don't really understand the basic fighting stuff.
Excellent Execution
Rock solid game! The old-school graphics and the "Ghouls&Goblins" storyline plus the neat puzzle-RPG mechanics kept me playing til the end of storymode. My only complaint is that the game didn't get much harder at the end.Take note that I was playing on "normal". I might change my mind once I give hard mode a spin.
I mean, aside from the stronger enemies, there wasn't much challenge especially since the increased armor (or level, i'm not sure which) prevented the damage from when my action points ran out. What I'd do is get the key then get beside the door, then spend a few minutes just breaking blocks so I could farm gold for the shop.
One feature I'd like to see is block powered abilities. Like, instead of scrolls, you could assign each spell to a block color. Drilling blocks of that color would charge up your spell and once it's full, you can use it. Just an idea in case you do a sequel.
All said, Knightfall is a great game, especially for puzzle gem lovers like me.
Good game
I enjoyed it, but I have to question how many times you have to kill satan to win, and also why doesn't magic work on him. I stocked up on annihilation just for the big fight, and it didn't do many any good.
Damn good addictive game
I just can't stop playing. It is a really funny and tricky game, but soo damn good.
You just want to drill everthing and beat that devil.
Hope that there will be a part two or something :)
