Reviews for "The Final Act"

Good stuff

Excellent work. Ive never done anything like this so I cant imagine how hard it must have been to create this. As soon as the mime started doing something behind his neck I saw what was coming next. A bit dark but I liked it.

what is it with people and mimes these days?

i can appreciate the work you you put into this.

as good as it was, the animation felt a bit stiff (no pun intended), but on the plus side you had great facial expression. Even though it was stiff, i like the action and the way he handled the invisible items was top notch. how many times did you have to hang yourself to get this right?

also, the music added a ton. i don't have any units for you, it just added a ton of it.

orb responds:

Haha, my professor kept telling me I need to video tape myself doing whatever is in my animation to get some reference footage, and I was like UMMMMMM.....

Wonderful!

I loved the way the story was carried. The music suited it perfectly. Expressions were absolutely great. The way only the eyes were bright and in colour was really well done. Also i hardly guessed the way it ended. Really well done!

OMG! This is EXCELLENT!

Never seen someone so dedicated to his work, it almost made me cry. :'(

excellent

The animation was excellent, the facial expressions were fantastic. I was wondering about the piano piece playing in the background. You didn't credit the composer.

orb responds:

I didn't see a place to credit the composer, only the artist, and since technically the copyright info and artist goes whoever did the actual playing of the piece, I would have had to put that, and I didn't remember.

But the composer is Beethoven, it's the Pathetique (2nd movement).

One of my favorite Beethoven piano sonatas :D
