Reviews for "Puzzle Defense"

very creative!

Overall very good! The puzzle aspect is nicely done.
upgrade system might be nice, though
I also like how it paused to let you build towers
I am not sure if the puzzle switches randomly, or if it can be changed manually.
AWESOME

nice touch

i like this new type of defence games, altho if im honest i didnt like the theme to it tho, maybe if that changed id like it more..

Epic!

Woohoow. what a trip. The defence game in itself is pretty basic, without an upgrade system and a limited (but nice) set of towers. But what a combination! It's amazing how well balanced the gameplay is. I love how you have to go for specific colore to buy specific towers.

Personally I think the difficulty is rightly balanced, another strong point. The graphics are good, the control flawless and the music not disturbing. So if it would be just a defence game, it would be a very decent one.

But it's not just a defence game. It's even not two games in one. It's a unique twist that gave me a whole new gaming experience

Keep em coming!

Thanks for playing! It seems like lots of players have enjoyed the combination of gameplay -- I give a lot of credit to Puzzle Quest, Puzzle Pirates, and Puzzle Fighter for introducing the idea of puzzle/other-game hybrids.

Keep an eye out for sequels or iPhone/iPod ports :)

Heh.

I was a little skeptical when I clicked on this due to the massive disappointment I usually have in most TD games... but you actually managed to execute this rather well. Excellent sense of multitasking, and it actually gives you something to do besides sit there and do nothing while you're waiting for the wave to finish.

I applaud you, my friend.

Solid execution.

While I applaud the combination of two fairly overtaxed game types into one new hybrid, it's not exactly a convenient hybrid. The two elements actually distract from one another. In order to harvest resources I need to concentrate on the jewel part, but then I can't watch to see if my towers are working well. The pause at the end of levels helps, but that almost makes me think that the two games should have been separate, maybe turn based, anyhow. Still, the game overall is an insightful development.
