Yea I've played almost every TD game on newgrounds too but each one gave you points for killing each enemy. I didnt play past the first level because I only got 10 points for killing all those guys....

upgrade is shit
its fine but the upgrade is SHIT i had 5 towers upgraded 2 upgraded alot and like 15 bots got past really quick after while upgrading is fucked up cant upgrade fast enough to even defend .
Not good
With so much examples of good denfese games, you just didn't get it.
The wall system is just not good, it's too expensive, almost half a tower, you could make the wall damage tanks or whatsoever. Just not good.
Not new but still good
This isn't an original game in terms of game play, but I don't think the author is arguing or trying to convine us that it is. With the exception of the move option (and perhaps the coil gun, but I'm not sure), I've seen pretty much everything in a tower defence game before.
That said, just because it isn't new doesn't mean it's not a good game, and it is. It's smooth, both in play and with the menus, the towers are quite imaginative, and I liked experimenting with the coil tower. It's also reasonably difficult which is good because a lot of tower games you can just sit back and watch your fortunes grow.
(If anyone is stuck as to how to beat it I found a fully upgraded poison tower at the start, a coil at the end, saws on the corners and then a wall maze with highly upgraded missile towers throughout.)
There were some problems, the menus sometimes slowed up game play, and a few small glitches, but nothing major. The only reason why I haven't rated this higher is because the standards for tower defence games is high, there's a lot more content on some (bosses, buildings, enemy special buildings, player controlled defenders and more interesting turrets).
All in all good game.

this games downfalls are the menu system, which blocks gameplay in a a really bad way. plus your weapons could be a little more imaginitive
