Hard, but fun
I also noticed if you keep restarting some prices will not have reset with the restart. Fun game too, but I have a hard time getting past 15 on noob

glitch
If you lose and want to start again, the game will not let you place your base. I have to go out and restart the entire game again.
Nice game, but a few problems
I really love the concept for this game, and I had(and am still having) a lot of fun trying to beat this game on the medium difficulty. The music and sound in the game is great, and the little snippets of dialog from Dubya help keep things light.
One complaint I do have it that it seems like there's only one path to actually winning this game, and you can't go too far off it. It would be nice to have some way to make terraforming to Gaia planet feasible.
The big problem I had was with all of the bugs. Sometimes when I started a new game, I wouldn't be able to place the beginning city. Other times when I started a new game, the additional cost upgrades for the city and terraforming didn't reset. And also, if you select the Power Plant to build, but mouse over to the farm before you place it, the power plant always costs only 500 instead of what it should cost at that point.
A lot of people are saying this game is hard, and it definitely is. But lowering the difficulty by making waves easier or longer in between doesn't seem the right way to go about fixing things IMO. Instead, I think a lot of problems would be taken care of, or at least lessened if the population/Gaia side of the game was buffed so the player actually has a reason to upgrade it at all.
