FReaky man, the sound could have used some improvement, maybe a song some ambience throughout would of helped
but 1 question, what does the uncanny valley have to do with this? in case you didnt know the uncanny valley is the abiltiy to not tell humans and technology apart
Actually, the uncanny valley is what psychologists call the point at which something looks "creepy" or "disturbing" to us because it has *some* human features.
If you can't tell a human apart from a robot, that wouldn't be the uncanny valley, that would be acceptable. If the robot moved wrong, or had a weird fake appearance like a maneqquin, that might freak people out and THAT would be "the uncanny valley" :)
It got its name because things that don't look at all human (like a cat or a turtle) don't usually disturb most people, and things that look perfectly human are fine, but in between them is a big "dip" down into creepiness, like a valley that pops out of nowhere.

Before I knew it was a dream I said "woah this would be one hell of a nightmare" then half way through I got a vibe from one of the dreams my friend had that was very very scary (so bad when she woke up she puked up blood). He does like me though, he wakes up from a deathly nightmare, then he just rolls over and falls back asleep. I can have a tremendous nightmare, or even something beautiful and amazing, and I wake up and go... "woah..." then fall back asleep because I am a dumbass. BUT ENOUGH ABOUT ME! This is wicked, very cool work man!

Okay, the flash did manage to get a startle moment out of me in the beginning, so it gets some points for that. Other than that one instance the rest wasn't real scary in any sense. Disturbing, but not scary.
But overall I liked this little movie. The monster were all creative, unique, and disgusting, making them all seem unsettling. Some great sounds effects bump up the creepy factor quite a bit, and I didn't quite expect the ending. To cap it all off, the animation was quite good.
I give this a 7 because it really wasn't scary, and the creatures, while sick godless freaks, lost their intial creep factor towards the end. But it does disturbing pretty good, so there's some merit in it.

This was one of the coolest flashes I've seen. It's a simple concept but your imagination went wild with those drawings and I love them. It's so wonderfully disturbing : )
