and when you die you have to go through all of it again
but overall a good game

Not Chess, but still a Great Game.
I have played the first game and I liked it. It is what it is, a puzzle game influenced by Chess.
The movements and levels were pretty straight forward. I believe that with the first few levels it was enough to cover as a tutorial or an introduction to those who haven't played this game. Levels became somewhat harder as the game progressed. Even though 'Guess which way the pawn is moving' became irritating at times, but it added to feel of a puzzle game.
The only exception I have about levels gradually increasing in difficulty was level 15. That level started off as any other simple level previous to it, but once you find out that the pieces (the rook, pawn and king) wouldn't move when you threaten them like in the levels before it, it became frustrating.
It also would have been a great addiction to the main menu if you added a move list for the pieces. Like introduce the movement spots so players would know how each piece moves. As a chess player I found myself stuck on some levels because I thought the rooks or queens had the ability to move like in the real game, but they don't.
Overall it was a Great Game and I can't wait for the next one. Keep up the good work.

Lvl 15- Instead of getting the key move around as a king and go near the rook until it moves. After that it's easy.

This puts a nice twist on chess. i think it makes it more action based, belive it or not action chess. xD
the graphics and animation were great, some trickery when playing the first time, with the pawn and the king. overall great
