Reviews for "Black Knight:Insurrection"

39 should've been the 40 :)

had to deduct 1 star for the simple fact that sometime the computer moves to a spot where you can't possibly win the level and have to hope that the next time they move in a different way... i can't remember how many time i played level 35 where i kept getting blocked til the CPU finally put himself in danger and i was able to capture him. great work and loads of fun to play around in... you might consider releasing a level editor so we on NG can play some more with it ..cheers!

Great

The background music was fitting- just like in a quizshow ;) The graphics were nice and not overkilled. Great gameplay- in it's simplicity was the true complexity. I liked it.

What a fantastic piece of logic thinking!

The game you created is one of the best puzzle games I've ever played. It was great fun for a quite long time. Levels, icons, symbols and every other piece of design is very nice. I couldn't hear the sounds and music couse I played in library in my school but every other aspect of the game is just perfect!

Love it

Took a good time to finish. Chess logic was great but I managed to screw up some levels by backing a piece into a corner. Only bug was mute didn't turn of the sound effects. Keep em coming!

A pleasant surprise!

Now this is a great game! I was initially a little hesitant about a game where you control one piece and one piece only. I thought it would have become a little tedious and boring at points but man, way to prove me wrong.

Incidentally, I would like applaud you for your choice of the "hero" piece. The knight is probably one of the most versatile AND interesting piece for this game. Had you picked any other piece, the game would not have worked. but because you picked the knight, it all just worked out great.

the puzzles themselves are pretty easy at first, but at later levels man get difficult. one thing I have a problem with is figuring out the provoke step from each piece. A little bit of hint instead of forcing me to experiment would have made this a little smoother. Still, it's only a minor thing and I'm sure some people enjoy exploring and figuring out the provoke patterns themselves.

Good job!
