Reviews for "Sanctuary"

How nice! :)

Step responds:

Thank you :3.

Man this is some epic music. Plz make more but try not to make them so long next time.

Step responds:

Thanks for the review. I can't really say not to make long songs though since if I'm making a song which I think will be four minutes long and I end it after three minutes, it's like forcing myself to cut it short and it won't come out that well.

Anyhow I do have shorter songs like Legend and Journey to the Afterlife if you're interested :P.

Thanks again.

All I can say is: awwwwesooomee!
I closed my eyes and began a journey. I was really sad when it was over, cause I enjoyed it. Hope to hear more songs from you :)

Step responds:

Haha don't worry, there'll be a lot where that came from. Or at least I hope so :3.

I'm happy you liked it.

Telling a story as I hear it:
'As the story begin, our hero is happy, has a good life...But then bandits strikes. The hero stands, fighting for his life, slaying countless men. The battle is won, but at what cost? His village is lost, so he begins walking the land, seeking an escape from his past. He finds moments of peace, but always, there's strife, more hardships, more battles, with only fleeting moments of rest. Then finally, one last battle, one final stand against impossible odds...As the last blow lands, the hero lies wounded, gasping for breath, with the bodies of hundreds surrounding him...Finally, as he closes his eyes...He finds sanctuary...In the hands of death.'

I dunno, that's just my interpretation...The end of the song brought a bit of tears to my eyes as I was thinking through this little story.

Step responds:

Thanks a lot! The scene you wrote is really great and I would've never thought of the sanctuary actually being death. It's pretty fitting!

Anyway thanks again for the great review, much appreciated!

Wow, I really enjoyed listening to this. The feeling I got was just amazing. I could really immerse my self with the music and feel the story progress. Like all good pieces of music everyone has a different story for every piece but that was along the lines of what I was thinking(the story that you proposed as you were making this). Perhaps you should direct a live orchestra with this. I think it would add that extra touch to this. Keep making music, you have a talent with it and a strong dedication. Hope you do well with your competition. -Eddy

That's great to hear. Personally I think that orchestral is one of the best genres for portraying feelings. There's something about it which just makes it so much more effective to create stories and emotions out of.

Great, looks like it's mission completed in that department!

Whoa, that's a little ambitious, haha :P. But yeah that would be amazing.

Thanks a million for the support, it's well-received! Glad you enjoyed the track.
