Reviews for "Sanctuary"

Beautiful song, Would do a great entry song for an action series. I could even see the hero having a long journal, then the showing of the bad guy and finally an epic battle, you got talent :)

Step responds:

Thanks, means a lot!

Glad you enjoyed it.

Sounds like this would fit perfectly in an epic kung fu movie xD

Step responds:

You sure? I can't really imagine doing epic kung fu whilst a song like this is playing xD.

Anyways, thanks for reviewing, mate!

I almost feel like it transitions too quickly between moods/tempos/feels. I guess I just want a 15 minute version is all! Delightful attention to detail, and packed with contrast, which is the meaning of life.

Step responds:

Haha xD. Well, you're not the first to think that it doesn't stay long enough in each mood/section. Even I think that!

Thanks for reviewing.

This is a very promising effort, you have a lot of talent and I can easily hear the amount of work that was put into this. I love the little details you've added in the arrangement, such as the very abrupt ritardando at around 1:25, gives a deceptive cadence feel to the section but then it picks back up. I really like this piece a lot!

Step responds:

Thanks a lot mate! I'm very happy that you like the little details. I find that the harder I work on a song, the more little details it has :P.

Thanks again, much appreciated!

This is an amazing song. If it was in a game I'd have to say it would be in the final cutscene right before the final boss and the big bad seems to be winning (kills a main character or unleashes the bigger bad or completes his evil scheme) then the fight starts right at that first part where the music picks up (about a minute in).

Step responds:

Thanks I'm glad you like it! You're not the first to compare this to game soundtrack :P.

Thanks again, I really appreciate it!
