I can see why people don't like it.
That's not to say that I don't, obviousy, but that this isn't for everyone. There's no instruction, little objective, and no reward. It would seem unlikely that you'd find any who enjoy this sort of thing on NG anymore, because you so rarely see it. I liked the graphics, but I grew up on 8-16 bit, so there's a bias there colored by nostalgia.

Sweet (in an older sense of the word)
I enjoyed this very much! It was very nice, in a way I don't think I was meant to understand entirely. As for the reviewer below who called the animation "crappy," I would like to counterpoint with something cartoonist Scott McCloud once said in an illustrated book he'd written on cartooning.
The entire book was narrated by a caricature of Scott, and at one point the caricature abruptly turned into a very well done self-portrait. He drew himself more simply not because he HAD to but because, as he explained, he felt people could relate better to simpler drawings, because with fewer details there was a better chance they could impose their images of themselves onto those characters. In the world of video games, eight-bit sprites are caricatures. Any of us could be the boy on the moon or the girl in the boat.
In a website unfettered by censorship, it's very heartnening to know that there are some people who still default to looking at the nicer parts of being human. Thank you.

it breaks up the monotony of the constant violent dramatic stuff you see constantly :) your not putting people in throws of aggression its simple gentle smiling game :) not something you can make a ton of but a good job.

This is..
.. without a doubt THE most original game I have ever played.
It may not be the GREATEST, but it's definitely up there in the Top 10.
Maybe work on the graphics (I'm not a big fan of the 8-16=bit style, but that's just me), maybe some music or sound would be good, and possibly a reward for finding all endings. Also, a few more endings (obviously requiring added elements) to the game wouldn't hurt.
