I like it...
...but I'm really bad at it.
The controls are good and the interface is clean. Though you mention "correct ratio" in order to consume other enemy microbes, I feel allowing a little more leeway on that would be nice. Or, perhaps, allow for you to grow a much larger microbe because when the enemy splits and eats one protein, I'm kind of stuck until they split again.
...or maybe I'm just playing it wrong. Good stuff though.

Elegant in it's simplicity
Very simple, very intuitive. My only issue is when the enemy starts out the same size as you but with 15 more guys, it turns into a 'lets get big enough to eat the other team' thing. Viruses made it challenging, as you had to be careful to avoid them while driving the other team into them (on some levels it was almost the only way to win), while the upgrades made it possible for multiple strategies.

Fun and simple, yet challenging.
This is one of the few games I beat in my first try, and I think it's because of the few levels. This game has A LOT of potential. More levels, more enemies, maybe eating lypids or carbohidrates and that could have another purpose (like a power up?).
Also, I couldn't read what did each icon (power) do. You could have sort of a level for each ability where you explain how it works.
Anyways, pretty cool. Keep it up! :D

yep played it on kongregate and it is baddass...
sometimes the proteins dont dissapear i had the same kinda problem with one of my games, its something in the collision detection...
anyways, this game is sick.

Reminds me of Spore
It reminds me of the cell stage in Spore, but other than that it was an alright game.
