Reviews for "MGS: Flash Collab DISC 02"

A Witty, Satirical and Intelligent Comedy Collab!

Dear authors-I don't know who to mention first; there are far too many people to congratulate for such outstanding effort in producing such a remarkable collaboration!

I really appreciate what you guys had done for us. I found myself laughing for the first time in days! There were a few jokes which I found difficult to understand, though, but all in all that calls for another round of MGS!

I really liked the change of scenery and artwork with each scene, and how some interrelates or completes each other, like the scene in the hangar with Metal Gear Rex stepping on Gray Fox. transitioning from a serious overtone to a simple yet sweet artwork in the next. I really liked the some of the really solid (pun), fluid artwork like BRS and OSUKA's drawings.

What I found most remarkable about this collaboration is the fact that it succeeds in addressing the various flaws, issues and "interesting moments" that were present in the actual games. This flash really cleared up alot of doubts I had about the game, as well as teaching me new things I failed to notice, such as the "Ocelot" issue (complete with an entire flash dedicated to real animals, AND Egoraptor's addressing Ocelot about his codename), Fortune's blond hair, and especially the part about Liquid shooting and driving at the same time! And Snake's expression was exactly how I reacted to Dejitarudavis's flash.

The voice acting, although some weren't as convincing, were very well done, and I actually believed for a second that some of the official cast members were involved! Tobromancer and a few others played David Hayter's voice really well, and I really liked how Boozerman handled Psycho Mantis.

And I have to comment on the references to Egoraptor. They were the funniest, and pure genius; they had me rolling on the floor laughing! Although Egoraptor's actual flash alone was a departure from his usual signature cartoon style (I was disappointed that the short statures and angry eyebrows didn't appear, but it sure hell did show how Egoraptor is capable of drawing something as serious and awesome (No pun intended) as this), the other flashes whcih reference his work made up for it. Aeonstar's japanese Hideo Kojima collab had me laughing for a whole minute when Egoraptor's awesomeness was refered to in his flash, causing Kojima to go (quoting an internet meme) "An Hero". Nice Japanese accent btw!. The god hand cameo was really unexpected! Placing Egoraptor's flash directly after that was really clever, then we got to see the man himself in Fiergon's flash, and I agree, he does have a rather handsome voice that would put David Hayter down anytime. It's great to hear Egoraptor's funny voice outside of his own flashes.

At the very end of the video, we are greeted with something more unexpected than Fred Flintstone, Duracell (That was an AWESOME joke btw!) or Dragon Ball Z. We were actually REWARDED with two steamy pieces of Meryl and Emma, a fine token of appreciation for us watching the collab through the end. That was pure genius, and kudos to Fleckogold for his original art style and "gratuitous generosity"! Plus, may I say, thank you for the Angry Eyebrows!

There were some things missing though, notably a few easter eggs, spoilers for MGS4 and the issue of the original MGS3 characters being the dead characters in MGS1 and 4, and the death of major characters, Major Zero's obsession with James Bond and scones, and some jokes about the rest of MGS3's bosses such as The End, Young Ocelot, Raikov, Volgin and The Boss, and some more references to the Patriots (like the significance of their names), as well as a reference to the post credits scene in MGS4. Although I admit, embarrassingly, that I have yet to watch the Metal Gear Collab DISC 1, so probably most of what I had mentioned might have been addressed there.

All in all, this collab is a Witty, Satirical and Intelligent Comedy collaboration which truly laughworthy, and worth my hour of downloading! You should release a DVD collection soon, and guys should be awarded for being true MGS fans. I hope there is a sequel!

wow....awesome!

The last scene where snake shitts all over the metal gear had me laughing for days. due to major inconveniences, I had to upload that video about 2 or 3 times (7 and 1/2 hours) so I couldn't exactly watch it until now. I loved everything. I knew that Tomamato was the voice in Egoraptors Video, and alot of the other clips in this are top notch. I dont care what anyone says, I loved this one more than the first. Im not lookin for any easter eggs though. that is up to you.

Do Watch all of the credits for somthing interesting.
