nothing really new from the last one?
played this once and i was constantly getting jipped on cards UNLIKE the last version and all the while my opponent kept hitting me up with ridiculously more powerful cards then mine. lvl 1 btw. also whats with that poison shit man it should have a duration like "place this shit on you for 5 turns, 2 damage a turn" that poison shit wasnt very imaginative.
Not very different, but I liked it more
The game felt exactly the same, but with the bugs fixed (like both side's eldeer defense being added to attacks) it's much more enjoyable now. A couple of suggestions:
Let us design our own decks. I know it's harder to code, but until we can do that players will get bored of losing to strings of bad luck.
On the same note, the different insanities are too random. If someone gains Megalomania while they have a lot of damage cards modified by +Arcane and a good way to remove taint going insane helps them, while at the same time having a bunch of monsters when you gain Xenophobia is crippling. Not entirely sure how to remedy this, except maybe to base it on something that's partially player controlled.
The addition of discard and being able to increase your sanity was a nice touch, one I wouldn't have thought of. I like it a lot though, don't change it.
One thing that I do not like is the straight line progression in opponent health. If you have a string of bad games you can easily end up 20-30 hp behind your opponent with no good way to catch up, while getting ahead can launch you further since your score is based partially on health remaining at the end. This is a bad system, and needs to be replaced in some fashion.
Other than that it was excellent, with the bugs fixed its now a very enjoyable game. Keep up the good work.

Much better. The majority of the problems concerning the older version have been solved.
