Fun

I had a lot of fun playing this game.

But I have a question, can I save that girl who's about to burned at the stake? (she's in the ancient graveyard)

SeethingSwarm responds:

Glad to hear you like this game of mine :)
Unfortunately that little girl is doomed to burn to death :(
Thanks for the ten!

This game is... OK.

I liked the overall plot, but there are several thing that you could improve if ever you make a third game in this series.
The game lags when you attack while moving.
The missions should be spaced closer together.
As you said in the game description, The caps lock thing.
The fact that you can only restart from a save point.
This last one was the one that annoyed me most, because i died while fighting lord fenlon, then found out I had to go and kill a cave troll. Again.

Other than those reasons, I find the game was very well thought out.
This is why I gave this game a 3/5 and a 7/10.

Oh, and the fact that you gave an explaination for new players was a fantastic idea. I wish more game would do that.
(I'm looking at you, Several Journeys of Reemus.)

SeethingSwarm responds:

Thanks for the review!

The reason why the game lags for you is that your computer is too slow for the graphics. You can toggle the quality with T. The missions were quite far apart and I should have made locations much closer to each other. I thought all the travelling would give it an epic feel, but I was clearly wrong, it's just frustrating.

I have to say that it's not my fault you forgot to save your game. I mean, the cave troll is literally the first mission you get from the king, so you never saved at all. I agree that it would be much better if there were more save points... this was the first time I've ever made a game where you can actually save your progress, so yeah. I think I've improved on that with my later games.

Glad you enjoyed my game :)

hmmm,

Anyone remember were the witch is supposed to be? I wasn`t paying attention, and the guy wouldn`t repeat were she was.

SeethingSwarm responds:

If I remember the name of the forest correctly, she's in Skybreak Forest. Exit the castle, turn right, then enter the forest and keep going right pass all the caves and the inn and the entrance to another area untill you reach the end of the forest where her hut is...

Thanks for the nine!

Love it

This game is great, possibly one of the best I've played on Newgrounds. The graphics are good, but not too good that they create a lag; the control system is simple considering how many things there are to change during gameplay; and the overall storyline is great. The only aspect I think you should improve is the distance between missions. Running around got very repetitive, to the point where I stopped playing after reaching Felkon's Keep. Keep up the good work, I'd love to see another game like this.

SeethingSwarm responds:

Thanks for the great review! I agree totally with the distances between places. I thought traveling around like that would give the game some epic kinda feel, but I guess I was wrong according to many people's complaints about that. I've learned my lesson, I think :)
