Reviews for "Space Station Jason"

for a flash

...dude.. this is like.. ><...

this should be a game you have to buy its so well made. Its not a flash, its a masterpeice

Phantasmagor responds:

Thanks a lot!

Why can't I stop playing this?

I can't really think of anything else the game needs. It was much better than I expected it to be.

love everything

seriously; love the title, love the graphics, love the game play, love the premise, and most of all, love the space-moose. genius.

Phantasmagor responds:

Gotta watch out for those space moose's, they're everywhere

WOW

THIS GAME SEEMS REALLY COOL BUT I CANT GO THROUGH THE PORTALS EVERYTIME I PRESS ENTER NOTHING HAPPENS

Phantasmagor responds:

Strange :( Try re-loading the game perhaps

Thanks for the review

Excellent game, good starting engine for much more

This was a great game; challenging, skill-building, with a sense of humor. If you add a few other ways to travel you could have an amazing game series. A few specific ideas:
-- other aspects of physics or ways to interact with the environment : magnetism and magnetic blocks, a tool to rotate gravity, a grapple when alongside/under certain kinds of blocks
-- specific worlds in which laws are just different : one with a gravitational center and blocks around it on various sides, one with finite walls where you can bounce off of the top and sides (remember that you are travelling through portals in space, and you can impose all sorts of physical laws while moving the story line along)
-- materials/boots/jetpacks that let you alter your own jumps: triple jumps, better long-distance vision, higher (or longer) jumps, longer float time, faster transverse float speed.
-- something that slows down time, for especially tricky parts (perhaps a reward for finishing an entire episode?)

I think the game was challenging for an intro to a universe; but can see how this could become a stepping stone to players learning to do amazing things. I am thinking of Eternal Daughter here, for one. At any rate, if you have any other great game ideas, I can see many of them fitting into this sort of world, and hope Jason has a future! (in which case, it would be neat to have things you had earned from one adventure carry over)

As for people complaining about having to restart levels from the beginning, I certainly enjoyed that part. I felt auto-checkpointing at the portal world and having so many extra lives in the levels was plenty generous.

Phantasmagor responds:

You had some brilliant ideas there. I wish you had told me those before I had released the game but I may take your ideas and implement them in a sequel. I think you're right about this game being a building block for something better. I would definitely like to take the engine I have created and take it further in a future version of the game.

Thanks for the amazing review
