Reviews for "Space Station Jason"

I agree

with the guy below me that checkpoints are needed , otherwise its a good game, its just anoying when you fall to the bottom of the level and have to go all the way back up to the top, i would rather die then respawn where i died.
anyway games alright.

Phantasmagor responds:

Starting from where you last died may be too easy though. The game needs some challenge. All old platform games made you start back from the start or the last checkpoint and that's the kind of feel we were going for. Since the levels in this aren't so big we figured starting from the start wouldn't be too bad.

not bad...

BUT WHERE ARE THE F'ING CHECK POINTS?!?!?!

IT'S INFURIATING!!!!

Phantasmagor responds:

We figured the levels weren't really big enough for checkpoints but maybe you're right

There's potential

Nice concept and graphics. But the controls were horrible. Seriously, it feels like the guys has soaps under his feet so it's really easy to miss a platform. That's what killed me four or three times and then I got fed up and quit the game, that's really a problem. You might want to make it feel like you're in space but slippery character + small platforms = bad.

Also, the games becomes quite vicious pretty quick in the third or fourth level (the one when I gave up), there's that spot where you have to jump and change the camera and then jump again and that's pretty tricky for an early level.

Phantasmagor responds:

I don't know what you mean? In level 4 there is no point where you have to change the a camera in mid air. That only comes in later levels. You can play through all of level 4 without any really tricky movements. And I also don't understand what you mean by soapy ground. Jason comes to a stop fairly quickly if you stop pressing the run key.

Thanks for playing.

Great. Make a sequel!

The learning curve was a little steep, not that there's anything wrong with that it's just some checkpoints would be nice and they wouldn't derive from the difficulty of the game. I was hooked since the first level and when the other perspectives were introduced the game just became even better. Keep up the good work!

Phantasmagor responds:

We will :)

great

great game for the part i played it, but computer is so old its been molded together by shit and bubblegum, so i didn't play for long, still 10/10 5/5

Phantasmagor responds:

You should probably consider upgrading haha

Thanks for playing!
