I'm sorry but I couldn't take more than a few minutes of this- if you were attempting to make a challenging game, you did so, but for all the wrong reasons.
Your ships move in such a floaty pattern from even a TAP of the arrow keys that precise steering just seemed impossible, which compounds the problem of having so many bullets thrown at you from the very start of the game that it's nigh impossible to dodge ANYTHING. It's nearly impossible to get a clean shot off at any of the enemies in the game without taking return fire, shields be damned.
I'm sorry, but although you seemed to do well with the aesthetics, the game itself just isn't fun. Fix the floaty controls and strongly consider toning enemy resistance down from "Bullet Hell" levels, then I'll reconsider my stance.
