Reviews for "Beauty Resort"

Yay

Great game very addictive. I am now in touch with my feminine side.
I do have one criticism. The "waiting area" could get a little clustered and made grabbing people a ball-ache.
Fun though!

It was pretty good.

I just had one problem. When two clients were at opposite stations and wanted to go where the other was, it was impossible to do. Like I tried putting someone in the shower thing while someone else wanted to go in the chair at the same time but the other was at the station they wanted to go, it was impossible to do.

Just some suggestions;)

Its fun & well done... I liked the graphics and really enjoyed playing:)

As for suggestions-- it would be cool to choose which upgrades to get....
-Maybe you could choose to have more than one type of chair/tub/steam room/serenity/swimming area/etc)
- Or an assistant whose job is to clean up the tubs/steam area/etc
- Or a receptionist whose job is to collect the cash
- Or the ability to clean things before they get dirty (when there's a small lull in the game, instead of when they need to be done & everyone wants to get in them)
- Or the ability to advertise the spa for more customers... or to change the prices
- Or decorate the different spas

Nothing spectacular.

I'll give you two good points: the graphics were nice, and the theme was original... but that's just about all the originality you have here. It's exactly like Diner Dash and every other queue-action game on the internet, be it a diner, a salon, bakery, or baby factory.

More stations, like a second massage chair, would've been helpful. When you have two customers waiting for the massage chair but there's already someone in it, at least one of those customers is going to leave because it takes too long. Either add more stations, or slow down the anger meters.

Also, it may have just been my laptop, but everything moved very slowly. That's what always annoys me about these games. I can queue up a million activities, but it takes an eternity to do them all.

I also had a problem with the angry/leaving customers. Once they started steaming, I couldn't put them into a station that had just opened up (after waiting an eon for the finished customer to disappear). Then, it took absolutely forever for the angry customer to leave so that I could put a new customer into the station they were leaving. In the end I lost both the angry and new customer because it took so long. Again, adding multiple stations (two massage chairs, two jacuzzis, etc.) would've solved this problem.

not really original..

Not much creativity aside from the different treatments at the spas.

The graphic is good, but then again its all dinerdash-like is it? and a lot of other games have truly tried and tested that concept.

not really outstanding for me, aside from the graphic. I'm being lenient.
