Reviews for "RoboFall"

Good first effort

Seemed a lot more like a demonstration of concept than a full game. The fall needs to be significantly longer. The entire game is over in seconds.

as with below comments, should have a score counter to show progress. Graphics are a tad cheese-like. Controls are smooth though and I didn't have any pass through issues.

FreelanceFlashGames responds:

I'm glad you like the controls.

ehh

the controls are good but it takes a little to long to move from left to right
also sumtimes the hits wouldnt register
however graphics are good

lets add some replay value...

this can be a really fun game, but just falling and blowing stuff up leaves me feeling empty.

*try making levels (must blow up x amount of stuff to reach next level)
*at the end of each level you acquire pieces from what you destroyed
*use those pieces to upgrade things like manueverability, speed, and maybe even some long range weapons to get those hard to reach items.

I think these things will increase replay value.

-game needs explosion sounds.
- art could use a little work.

I believe you have something here, I just would like to see it do better.

Where can I get a...

... kite for $100,000,000? It must be the best kite ever. I gotta get me one of them.

In all seriousness, it felt a little stiff, and the premise is kinda lacking. When you get to this project "Moonshine" (which you do know is the name of an illegal home-brewing of alcohol, right?) it is automatically destroyed... in fact, the robot simply picks it up and throws it aside. As if the party responsible for creating the robot has absolutely no way to defend itself against it. Kinda ruins it.

FreelanceFlashGames responds:

Haha I know. The project name was a joke of sorts because it had to have a codename with something pertaining to the moon, and it came to mind.

not great

not an awesome game, but good graphics and idea. it would be much better if you could shoot stuff not just crash into it :/

FreelanceFlashGames responds:

Thanks for the feedback. I considered adding shooting, but it seemed that it would ruin the falling aspect of the game.
