Well I only found one strategy that works, and that is to combine all of your ships and take one star at a time and turn it into defensive. Well at least it's the best way.

Masterpiece
Great Game - For a demo, people saying that he should make different ships, music and sounds remember this is just a small piece of the game.
For me the game was kinda easy i only got into trouble once and that was at the start of game were red was dominating me due to that the computer expands much faster than a normal player.
But it was fun playing against 3 CPU players and winning.
For the main Game It would be nice to have different ships like many other people have suggested, If you include music please remember a mute button so people can listen to their music :)
Other suggestions would be to be able to upgrade your planets to make them bigger or to make homeworlds have all 3 improvements a large defence, able to make ships faster and a large economy - making it that if you lose them your at a very large dissadvantage.
Incredible Gameplay
Graphics weren't anything real pleasing.
Upgrade system would be nice.
OH and when you're playing smaller games like 10 stars, it's impossible to take out an enemies defense stars.
I actually got excited during this game..it's really quite enthralling.
Great job, can't wait for the actual game. :D

Yeah, good point, there should be a minimum of 10-15 stars per player I think - a couple of people have been caught by this one, my bad. :(
