because generally collabs are themed, and so all the parts are on the same theme, in this case it was a city made of cardboard, but because you're leaving it open to the animators and you're not scripting it WHICH I GUESS IF YOU REALLY WANTED TO YOU COULD DO, the parts would never make a cohesive story line.

That was very cool animation, and the loading game was great. It really kept me occupied. I think if this video had a moral behind it, or you changed it into story. Kinda like " A day in the life of -" and just had someone going to work, facing obstacles of some sort, it would definitely be 10/10. Great job though.
Decent but needs work.
You know as you said it has no story line but the animation is great and i would recommend you stay with it. My main point is that you do a little less individual work and try think of maybe making a main point that everybody can try stick to. Theres alot of great collaberative work out there. Everythings great but as you said a story or central point is lacking if you added that in I think you could get close to or over a four.

a newgrounds 4.00 wasn't really what we were after, we did this for fun and to try things out, but all of your points are well taken. We'll work for a story line in the next one :)

for the most part i didn't like it, but i did like the part when the guy had to turn on the giant fan to un-shrivel the city.
Was Alright
I liked the concept and everything... but I wasn't a big fan of all the artstyles in the collab. In fact, I think I only liked the beginning. It was still very creative, something pretty new. Not bad at all.
