Controls...
They are not very friendly to customization which is an absolute need if you want to reach both audiences with normal keyboards and mice along with people like myself with touchpads. This game was difficult but still fun. Nothing really new though.
It was... ok.
Not terrible, but it did have a few big problems.
* Health pickups seemed way too scarce after the first wave.
* The ship felt a little jumpy. Controlling it was rather annoying.
* Enemies shouldn't be able to spawn on top of you.
The first two points before combined with the last one made the game very annoying. There were many times where it seemed ships and asteriods would just spawn right on top of my ship, other times they'd spawn right in front of it. It was difficult to see the tiny particles of a ship about to spawn when the screen is filled with so many other things (debris and bullets). Other than that, it just wasn't that great of a game.
