I usually don't play games like this, but I found myself playing up to wave 25 or so. It's just a nice diversion if you've got nothing else to do or something.

I enjoyed it, but, in general, it's a hyperactive version of Asteroids. That's not a bad thing, and I like the fact that the weapons upgrade, but it's too 'twitchy'.. You have a very quickly cluttered screen and not enough room to really engage in much strategy involving shooting / avoiding the enemies. Also, as has been said before, a boss every 3 or 4 rounds would help add some much needed escape from the monotony. Also, perhaps the ability to save up your resources to purchase specific upgrads would be helpful.
The graphics were very good, the engine itself, and the functioning of the game, excellent.. The game play itself just needs some tweaking... Well, at least for me. If you are one of the people who loves non-stop, keep shooting or die, don't stop and think, just KILL KILL KILL action, this might be excellent for you.
