i couldnt stop laughing.... i never really got past 5 oaks... but making little hero noises while playing made me laf :)

3856 on the first try
A funny concept to the game considering the character design and animation but damn if that wasn't hard as Mt. SunBitch on Earthbound Zero cause everytime i got a reinforcement coming through either him or the one guy i'm running with at the time gets blown the hell up but regardless of the difficulty matter it was a good game and i'm sure it will be enjoyed by many.

Here's mine:
The game was simply awesome, a quick but excellent time waster. The overall idea is somewhat overused, but with the ability to collect additional men and spread in/close out really made it stand out.
The music was stunning, though it was a rough loop (you can tell where it ends), it fit perfectly with the soldiers trying to make it home. It gave emotion to it [the game], which is something rare in games on newgrounds. At least it wasn't an upbeat techno song.
The graphics, while simple, fit perfectly as well. The expressions on the soldiers faces was true, you wouldn't see a soldier with a smile on his face when there's missles and bouncy balls flying around everywhere. Like a previous reviewer mentioned, the vintage film look made it even better.
The gameplay, as mentioned above, is simple, but addicting. Also, as mentioned above, the ability to spread out and close made this game unique.
Now, for the negative part of my review:
Why would a bouncy ball kill a soldier?
