Reviews for "Dropple"

Much too laggy for real enjoyment

It would avert the screen to disable the arrow keys. I ended up adding about 40 extra seconds because I couldn't get the Click on the screen, press the space button, and then react to the arrow keys to land on a solid surface. It's buggy, so I give you al lower score. It was frustrating many too times, and I now have a headache.

Just not my kind of game. Sorry

Great concept...

but the physics were so off, the game was not playable. I could not get past the second level because the ball seemed to get stuck travelling in one direction at high speeds, even after just tapping one arrow. Other than that, it's a good idea for a game. You should try to fix up the handling a bit.

Uh yeah there alot of problems

Yeah i don't really like this game becuase of many problems if you try bounceing off the corner you follo the side of the brick and luanch you under the brick >.< and i failed alot of levels becuase of that. The control are way to dam hard to control!

level 17

level 17 makes me want to die, i've been on this level for the last 30mins and it's absolutely killing me. :(

Bothersome

By all intents and purposes this looks good on paper. However, you broke the cardinal rule of gaming; difficult controls doesn't make a challenge, rather it makes tedium.
The graphics are perfectly fine, the concept is fun yet simple, and the controls are the only thing this game has that's original.

This is why the game gets a 4 and not a 6 or 7 which I would give it were the controls better. I see what you were trying to do, making the controls not super fluid so the game isn't just a walk in the park, but the build-up of inertia is spontaneous, rather than logically gradual. We're all humans, and we've all lived with basic physics influencing us, so it's kind've hard to break the notion

That's just part 1 of the controls, the 2nd part is that it's stiff. By stiff, I mean it's like my keyboard is dipped in syrup during gameplay. There's a slight delay between push and action, then the lack of gradual speed buildup, it all just adds to make this below mediocrity.

Maybe next time,
