Utter suck in comparison.

Maybe this would be a good game if it were the first Xeno Tactic and Xeno Tactic 2 was the original but that's not the case. The enemies are no longer diverse aliens but are now almost all the same space ships the air units and ground units go different ways I can't build a unique just by me maze that my alien scum enemies have to run through because now Im trapped on the sidelines. The A.I. Sucks as well the upgrade one feature at a time and maxed out a 10 thing was ridiculous in fact it was the MOST ridiculous thing ever. They upgrade instantly? Part of the challenge of one was when do I upgrade? Should I skip that 30 seconds and get a few bonus points or use it wisely to upgrade my turrets? Sure the turret selection is a bit more extensive but that doesn't even begin to make up for all of the other horrible mistakes. I really can't imagine you thought this would be well received with your Xeno Tactic fan base so you MUST have been aiming for people who had never played Xeno Tactic 1. When and if you make Xeno Tactic 3 please go back to the old style. Im hoping and praying that this is the coke new coke coke classic approach because if not then I've lost all faith in flash game makers and I will finally have to purchase and learn flash to upstage all of you monkeys on flash. I hope you take my advice and the advice Im sure your getting from others about this horrible abomination that you TRIED to call Xeno Tactic. It doesn't even fall NEAR the same family and you should quite frankly be ashamed. Im off to play Xeno Tactic again. Maybe beating that a few hundred more times will buy you enough time to release Xeno Tactic 3 in the original style. Seriously, just get more aliens and more levels, that's all you needed to please us.

What has happened to my Xeno Tactic!! D:

As before, the graphics are way cool. The game looks great. However...

I love Xeno 1. This is rough, though. It's an ok game, but it's not Xeno Tactics. It was frustrating!!! A few points:
-What's with the sound? The gun sounds have been replaced so now the vulcan turret sounds like it's thrown a fan belt.
-The turrets move too slow. By the time they rotate toward an enemy enough to fire, the enemy is well into the range and this cuts into the time I have to attack it.
-Sometimes they MISS! I had missiles and freeze shots miss and even pass over enemies!
-Turret upgrades: Having to choose one part to power up sucks, and then it stops at level 10! NOOooooo...!!!!! I dont want to have to choose what area to upgrade; upgrade it ALL, power, range, AND speed!!
-And there's not enough money to buy turrets and upgrade them. I BARELY passed Noob level cuz I was always out of money. And only a few turrets were upgraded at all. Most were base.
-Why do the air enemies go a different direction? The field is only 10 squares for them, but is 20 squares long for the ground units. Make them all go the same way! That's my main pisser about Xeno 1, not a lot of time to attack air enemies, but at least they had equal space.
-There needs to be a better crossover between air and ground turrets. There are lots of ground turrets, but only 1 air turret. The 'BOTH' turrets dont do much damage, so they barely help. It's hard to get air turrets installed before they first aiships come, and if you have no money and no air turrets, you're screwed. That happened a lot.
-The level designs are rough too. You have too limited space to put turrets, rather than the whole floor like last game. And you have to pay to put an extra place to put a turret. In easy level, you can place turrets on both sides of the entrance, but only one set of guns will be in range to fire, so the others are wasted. If you put in walls, then you run out of money.
-By the way, you cant sell/remove walls, and that causes problems.
-Hold up there boy: Stop the automatic stuff. In Xeno 1, I could set up my first set of turrets and THEN start the game. Here, they just start coming automatically, unless you pause. I was trying to read the turret info in the upper blue box, and enemies started coming!
-So please change the timer for info in the blue box. If I'm looking at a turret, I need more than 2 secs to read the info, but that's all we haave before the info goes away, and that's not enough time.

**The reason so many people have such major issues with this game is due to the fact that we all love the first game so MUCH!! It was THAT good of a game!! Be proud of the first one. Please ... I dunno what to say about this one; change a few things and it'll be better, but Xeno Tactic 2 it is not.

but its not enough, yes I admit its good
but there are some bad sides

WE like the first one because:

1. there, we build our tower in our own positions, make our own path, which makes it more of a strategy game than a defense game. (we liked that). but this second one has predefined blocks which are buildable.

2. The turrets are BIG, and I mean some turrets are really BIG. resulting to less towers can be built. We like the little ones and many of them.

3. Speaking of big turrets, we can see the rotation of its cannon is real slow, so for a turret to fire on an enemy in the back, he will rotate for maybe a second or less. It must be immediate rotation to fire quickly.

4. found a bug, the first time I played then clicked "continue", I can play on the first 3 levels. When I clicked "new game" that is the only time 2 was locked.

5. Bug again, on the first stage, I blocked the entrance of the upper path coz I want them to go thru the lower path. Then I put a wall in the exit of the upper path, It says "blocking"
