Reviews for "We are the ONE."

Hmm...

I hate to say it... You had some fantastic atmosphere going at the beginning, and impressive music choice. The anti-war message was strong enough without all the messages and pathetic music at the end. I think the point of the movie was lost toward the end, and it just became another standard anti-war flash. Also, bringing in the dancing characters ruined it further. I don't know, I suppose you had your own idea of what you were making in your head, and that's okay. Brilliant animation, anyway. Not so sure on the music choice.

3/5, 6/10

Good begining... and end... the rest...

Dude, i liked it at first, your preview caught my eye and i gave it a good score, but this is... the dancing completely KILLS the serious vibe going on. I'm sorry man but theres no excuse for making a Frankenstein of serious shit (i.e. people getting killed) and the more lighthearted stuff. if they had been in different flashes, that'd be alright, but dude... plus the dancing went on WAY too long.

If you kept it consistent, this would've won more of my respect and maybe more portal awards.

uhhh

the first part almost brought me to tears but the dancing totally threw me off... sorry dude, i can only give u 5/10 because of that

What the?

The intro was great... but the dancing people lost me. I felt like it would never end. Sorry dude... I didn't realise this was going to turn into a cuddly love thing. It went from sad to I don't know what. Kind of reminded me of the Aeon Flux short... before the dancing started. lol. The start was animated beautifully. I loved the sense of 3d and movement. No more dancing... please. :p

Well made, idealistic fluff

Artistically sound. If it weren't laughable propaganda I would be thoroughly impressed.
I could see some extremely entertaining animations made using this style, but the potential was shot down by the forwarding of the extremely naive message.

It looks cute when the two combatants have a brief moment of compassion, but without destroying the culture and ideals that foster such violence war will never end. Love they neighbor sure sounds pleasant, but when you have been brought up your entire life to believe the ideal is to die while slaying the enemies of God.

Make no mistake: such people would not hesitate to kill you if they thought it was desirable from a religious standpoint. You may or may not be consistent enough in your beliefs to face death without fighting back, but do not fool yourself into believing such an end would somehow be morally superior or virtuous. The only difference it would likely have is to inspire more hatred and violence in reaction.

The worst part is that those seeking martyrdom are no worse on average than others. As you say we are far more similar than different, but we remain incompatible regardless.

We can't fully appreciate their mindset, but even if you could fully raise the awareness of every human being you would still face irreconcilable differences between the haves and have-nots and basic human drives like ambition and selfishness. Unfortunately there is not enough to go around for six billion people to attain fulfillment and contentment.

My advice:
Do something fun next time. There are powerful, unsurmountable forces that have made the world the way it is today... and it could be much worse. If you want to make a better existence for humanity do something solid and tangible, starting at the individual level. Preaching "Love", "Peace" and "Unity" is ultimately meaningless and futile.
