Reviews for "Mad Vlad II: Revamped"

hmm

i give u six because of alright animation and story line but more thn 1 move wud be nice and the fact tht wen i tried a lvl saying there was undead there was just credits y not just put credits but an alright game but cud b much betta

awesome

loveit. smooth game got some nice satire. played 5 times 'fore i got bored of it =)

I liked it

The one thing I suggest is a little less reading, I'm all for a great storyline but right off the bat there was some legnthy reading. I would go light on the reading in the beggining and then after you let the player see how much fun the game is assault them with the lengthy text after they're starting to get a bit used to the game.

Glitchy fun!!!

played this up 2 the final lvl - which i would have completed but for 1 glitch. on the last lvl, while trying2 retrieve the gem, the door leading back off the level just wouldnt open. lost a few lives due the "invisible" vlad code that made me fall off and die. otherwise, good game dude. seems like the characters are cutouts, tho. oh, one more thing: y is this game so glitchy?

@Krixig: the crystals have rbg values
yellow = red + green

For those who get stuck on the village level, the crystals control the color of the central gem (initially cyan) and the lever resets the color of the middle crystal to the combination of the left and right gems.

Tips for secrets:
secrets = gems
ea lvl says the number of secrets/gems on its lvl

Gems guide:

Canyon of despair:
on the screen with sunlight, run all the way to the left side

A little village in the hills:
in the building for the wine, immediately next to the entrance (hop over using the ladders)

on top of the village town hall (go all the way to the left, jump onto the crate and between houses to reach the top of city hall. climb the ropes)

Nomad's trail:
on the screen describing the armor of your enemies (run to the left side of the screen, where there's two moving platforms. aim for the one moving left-right)

Shootout at olafall:
during shootout scene (run all the way to the right at the beginning, then jump onto the platform on the left and continue platform jumping to the left)

Boss: Hugo's retreat:
after killing him, during death of hugo cut-scene(click on the left hand side when you see question marks)

Madman's ford:
in the tree, on the second entrance on the right (up the ladder, to the right, down the ladder, to the left, drop, and to the right of the lever

during the carrier level (in the middle of the screen)

Boss: The Seat of Despair:
during end cinematic, after despair has been blasted (click on the darker side: I think it's the right side)

Gate of the demon:
on same screen as the two side-by-side ladders (do spin-attack on the right-hand side vase, about halfway up)

The great castle Vladimir (1/4):
at the huge clock face (go to upper door, set time on smaller clock to the one the lawyer gives you when you move the crate aside, then back through the door, and to your right)

Not bad

It was fun for a little while. I'm not a big RPG fan, and there was a lot of reading right off the bat, but it was still pretty fun.
