Reviews for "GS vs. TI - North Face"

Heavy

Pretty good track, nice progression and a sick drop.

The production seem to be a bit off, though, getting some interference on the heavy wobbles which isn't very flattering to the track. I wouldn't say the intro is too long, just that the track itself can easily get a bit repetitive, particularly towards the intro.

You've really gone for a really heavy style, and I'm guessing it's sort of my fault that I don't have the proper speakers for something like this. I'm really getting a lot noise on the heavy wobbles and heavy bass synths. Might be mastering or might be my headset, but I got the same result with speakers and headset.

As mentioned, it's a bit repetitive, but it's a really heavy (maybe even too heavy?) and really nice dubstep track. Ending is pretty good, too, nicely ending a track like this.

GirlStep responds:

That's weird, it sounds fine on my speakers. I guess I need to start listening to songs on several different sets of speakers/headphones to make sure it sounds fine on all of them.

Thanks for listening and enjoying our song!

Pretty awesome

Nice competition piece here. It has a great beat and all as well. as for the winner of the match I would say it is probably you since you did a great job doing your part on this one as well. The beat is just great and smooth for the most part then goes to dub over time.

The synth kind of reminds me of space levels in a video game too, really swell I think. The synth just hits higher notes and makes me think of Metroid a lot. The bass is very thick and well notable here as well as it plays a strange yet nice beat. The drums are also very amazing here too. Love when they sound like Crazy Train for a moment too.

The dub sounds were incredible. They just give a full blown feeling of it having become a boss battle there against a giant floating mech like Metal Overload. Really cool though.

Overall, nice challenge piece.

Wubba, wubba, wubba wubba wubba

Holy hell that intro at the beginning gave me chills.

Fire the bass cannon!

Really good dubstep track, a rarity on here (honestly). Love the sustain on the higher pitched lines. Really good track overall, and the intro got me pumped for shit to get real :D

Congrats

Solid performance here.
